How do I issue cards to a team member?

To issue a card to a team member, you need to navigate to the Cards page. 

To get to the Cards page, click on the “Cards” icon on the bottom navigation bar. You can issue two types of cards to your team members; Physical Cards or Virtual Cards. 

Option 1 – Issue a Physical Card 

  1. To issue a new physical card to a team member, click the “+Card” icon in the top right corner of the screen.  
  2. An “Issue a new card” option selector will appear from the bottom of the screen. 
  3. Select the second option “Issue card to an employee” 
  4. Click Continue 
  5. On the next screen you can either search for an employee using the search icon in the top left corner of the screen or scroll through the list of employees. 
    • If you do not find the employee you are looking for, you can click on the “+Member” icon in the top right corner of the screen to add a new team member. Click here to learn how to add team members.
  6. Select the employee you want to issue a card to by tapping on their name. 
    • ID Verification Pending (yellow) –  
    • Request ID Verification (blue) –  
  7. On the next screen, tap the “Issue physical card” button at the bottom of the screen. 
  8. Select the address where you want the card to be delivered – either the employee’s personal address or it can be delivered to your registered work address.  
  9. On the next screen, you will be asked to authenticate your request by entering your 6-digit passcode. 
  10. You will see a success screen once you have authenticated your request.  
  11. The inactivate card will instantly be visible in your employee’s app and under the Team cards tab in your app. 
  12. The employee will need to activate their card through their app once they receive the card. You can click here to learn how to activate your card.

It typically takes between 1 to 3 business days to deliver a physical card. 

 Option 2 – Issue a Virtual Card 

  1.  To issue a new virtual card to a team member, click the “+Card” icon in the top right corner of the screen.  
  2. An “Issue a new card” option selector will appear from the bottom of the screen. 
  3. Select the second option “Issue card to an employee” 
  4. Click Continue 
  5. On the next screen you can either search for an employee using the search icon in the top left corner of the screen or scroll through the list of employees. 
    • If you do not find the employee you are looking for, you can click on the “+Member” icon in the top right corner of the screen to add a new team member. Click here to learn how to add team members.
  6. Select the employee you want to issue a card to by tapping on their name. 
    • ID Verification Pending (yellow) –  
    • Request ID Verification (blue) –  
  7. On the next screen, swipe right till you get to the virtual card option. 
  8. Tap the “Issue virtual card” button at the bottom of the screen. 
  9. On the next screen, you will be asked to authenticate your request by entering your 6-digit passcode. 
  10. You will see a success screen once you have authenticated your request.  
  11. The new card will instantly be visible in your employee’s app and under the Team cards tab in your app. 

Virtual cards are active the instant they are issued. You can add funds to the card straightaway, and your employee can start using it immediately.
